Hey, what did you end up using/buying for the balaclava??

I got a cheap one from Amazon. It's more purple than in some of the pictures, but not the same purple as the armor has. Eventually I want a better one though.

And yes, Hamsterstyle is from Orgazmo. I've gone by that name for almost a decade now...i'm old.

Hamsterstyle, I to wanted to make a real life Buzz Lightyear. I just wanted to say thank you so much for being so open about your costume. This was my first build and without you I would never have been able to complete mine. I I made mine out of 55 gallon drums and football shoulder pads but your ideas were spot on. I hope you dont mind certain parts of mine looking a lot like yours because I showed everybody your picture and said "If only I could ever make mine this well." I made an account just to thank you and show you what I made.

Haha, very cool everyone.

"toddslightning", I used a cheap motorcross Armor jacket I got off of amazon. I hate using stuff like that too much, but it was perfect for attaching armor plates too.

When/if I do a V2 of this costume I want to custom build those parts.

The detail on the spine is super impressive, and I love the weathering you gave it.

The spine detail is complete cheating. It's a motorcross suit. I wanted to add-to/paint the undersuit but ran out of time. The motocross suit also allowed for attaching the shoulder pieces comfortably.

Cheating it may be, it still looks good.
