Building the 4' Star Destroyer

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Hi Julien & Lee,

Thanks for your kind comment~

Actually, I have no enough pinting space.
So, the shown unpainting status is caused by this limitation, not my intention~ :)

How about your progress for 8 footer ISD and Rebel transport? my friends?
I'm always looking forward to see the latest update...

thanks Eric.

Incredible Eric !

Just repeat what Julien said, incredible. I always love to see new pics from you Eric, your one of the cleanest builders around, no many, can make an unpainted model, look so immaculate!

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Hey Dave,

Yep. I also like to make the original version.
As I promised, I still don't forget the casting for the detail of engin baffles which was from Aurora sealab.
For couple of weeks, I will try to cast it with local expert including some extra casting for you.
Sorry for long waiting.

thanks Eric.

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Hi my friend,

Currently, I split out the rear details from engine section because I knew any inaccurated proportion after referring your and the prop.

thanks Eric.

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Simply stunning, Eric

I totally understand your wish to get it as close to the ANH version as possible ..if I ever try to tackle this beauty myself I'd also go for the ANH version.. no redressing in this house ;-)

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Thank you very much my friends for your kind comments :)

Actually, I gave up back to the original version due to some limitation :cry and put back in latest museum version yesterday.

Rafa,

The showcase and piano is not expensive than your expect.
And if you want to get the ISD, please try to make your model because I can support you when you start it.

Thanks Eric.

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Eric, of course I was joking.:lol

Seriously, your Star Destroyer model is superb. It's like watching the original model. I love it.

I admire your skills and cleanliness of your work.:eek

Now I'm very busy working on my SS X-Wing, and don't know if someday I'll have the courage to face a challenge as big as yours.

Keep up your great and inspiring work.(y)thumbsup:thumbsup
