Hi Lee,

Long time no talk w/ you my friend~

Although I didn't put any compliment on you guys thread, I'm REALLY interested in ESB stuffs of Guy, Jason and You.

Actually, I'm not expert for the ESB ships as you know...

And, I'm still waiting for some progress of your Tuna ship.

thanks Eric.

Hi stonky,

I know you are preparing another ANH ISD...
I can't wait the progress pics...

Hi Rick,

Thanks your kind comment...

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Just fantastic.

Of course, the underside of the Imperial Cruiser (that's what it was called when I were a lad!) has to be one of the most challenging things in all SS building, as it had to do the job of what was originally going to be a 50-foot model - with Edlund instructing the modelmakers to do 'a real nice job' on the area...They did one. And you're doing one too - absolutely spectacular!

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Thank you for your comment :)

Yep. Actually, I was surprised when I knew the model's length because the model was just 2/3 size of the Blockade runner.

During making the model, I'm also surpirsing the uncountable panel lines and styrene chips...i.e., details.
So, I have to respect ILM modeler's work again.

thanks Eric.

Wow Eric. Your dedication and attention to all the fine details really pay off. Your work here is just so beautiful.

Thank you very much my friends for your kind comments~

Last weekend, I completed all the trench details and some detailing w/ styrene chips on the right of the underside is just remained...

Of course, I still need to cast some parts for Bandai panther and Aurora sealab to use to main docking bay and engine bell's baffle respectively.
However, certainly, the long time work will be finished within mid of Oct. :)

thanks Eric.

Astonishing and totally convincing!

Rich

Fantastic work!

Just Awesome! Your attn to detail is fantastic!

Look forward to it Eric, you have the patience of a saint mate to achieve all that chipping & scribing:)
She'll be the centre piece of your collection for sure.

Hey, did you ever finish totally the Sandcrawler, painted etc... ?
I can't recall seeing any pics in the final colors, but then my memory escapes me sometimes:facepalm

Hi Stu,

I'm sure that Devstator will be located in the middle of my models.

Yep, I planned to paint the Sandcrawler in early 2012.
However, I decided to change the track from the latest plastic to old vintage metal track like the prop.
Actually, to find the right track parts is so difficult because it is very rare.
I just got two sets until now and still surfing ebay to get the remained two sets.

thanks Eric.
