Building the 4' Star Destroyer

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Beautiful work Eric, the scribing looks top notch. Even through the computer pics the scribing appears just right mate. The primer coat is just the icing on the cake my friend.
Your'e a brave fella for tackling this rebuild, but the results speak for themselves.

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Finally, the panel-line work for the upper hull was done~
Additionally, I also attached uncountable plastic chips on the hull...
I want to work slowly this kind of work to make more accuracy, even minor detail.

thanks Eric.

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

It really looks like the original, and I am always in awe of someone who shoots for 100% accuracy. Your patience and skill always pays off!

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Thanks Jason for your kind words :)

Actually, this version's detail is not quite different with my 1st building.
It just revised the proportion and was inspired by Rick's ISD.

thanks Eric.

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Rear engine part is added and now, casting for some parts and engine bell details are remained.

I'm very satisfied with this build proportion~ thanks my friend for your help :)

thanks Eric.

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Thank you my friends for your kind words :)

Actually, I just did 70% of ISD because the underside is remained.
Although I will finish the painting for couple of weeks, the underside will be under construction due to my other schedule.

I'm dreaming completed Devastator will be displayed in my collection within this year.

thanks Eric.

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

I attached some missing part and X-beam's position is changed as ANH version.
I would like to revise this ship to the original version as I can do.
Of course, it is very difficult due to poor reference.

Added missing parts are from below list.

- Tamiya 1/700 Scharnhorst : Bridge face
- Airfix 1/144 Saturn V : Superstructure upper deck
- Fujimi 1/700 New Jersey : Superstructure middle deck
- Revell 1/131 Defiance : Bridge neck

thanks Eric.

Re: Building the ANH Star Destroyer

Just repeat what Julien said, incredible. I always love to see new pics from you Eric, your one of the cleanest builders around, no many, can make an unpainted model, look so immaculate!
