Thank you Carlb! It is actually a roll of ribbon type material from Walmart.

Kind of going off of your idea, Joberg.. I "kitbashed" this in Tinkercad. I might 3D print some of these to use for the base. It is similar to some of the Apollo RCS rockets I saw online.

The painting has started! I put a base coat of Vallejo metal color jet exhaust. Then started with copper color on some of the radiators and "field" coils and sub-space modulators.

It's getting there. I started doing some weathering and washes. The concept for this satellite is that it has been in orbit around a particular moon for a couple hundred years and has collected a lot of interstellar dust and become worn from the constant bombardment from solar radiation.
