Hey all my name is Lance and Im way new at this. But here goes. I put together a WWII Cap uniform for the Dallas Comic-con and will continue to upgrade it as I go. First off I used a LOT of my own stuff. Being a former U.S. Army Paratrooper I have stuff.

First I started with a WWII steel pot and liner.

For the pants I used plain desert tan BDU pants. Ill order me a set of actual WWII Paratrooper pants soon. I also has a pair of brand new never used leggings and used my jump boots from my Army days. I know they arnt brown but I cant aford a pair of Brown Cockrin ones.

Lance, going "Genuine" GI on June 6th is perfect.
Better use of your old TA-50 as opposed to ending up in a surplus store.
