Building a Child Size Mannequin tips?

I need to put together a mannequin for a Trick r Treat Sam that I diding , I'm kind of tired of looking at the outfit laying around. I was thinking PVC for the body. He looks to be the same height as a Jawa, somewhere around the 40 inch mark, and I'm sure someone here's made one of those. Checked a few pages of the Jawa thread but didn't see any tutorials or anything. If anyone could tell me any good info it'd make this a little easier.

If your on a budget i would say PVC pipe. I use pvc reticulation pipe from the hardware store. You can get different angled joiners for the elbow/knee joints and they just click together. Cut the pipe to the lenth you want for the limbs. And wrap the whole thong in foam and gaffa tape to bulk it up etc. Total cost around $25.00
