Back to the Future Trilogy Limited Edition Collector's Tin Blu-ray: Amazon.co.uk: Michael J. Fox, Robert Zemeckis: DVD

£44.99
Approx. $68 USD (as of Jul 5, 2010)

On Amazon.co.uk non-UK buyers will get the VAT amount waived off, so the total would be reduced to £38.29 (Approx. $58 USD). Nearly same price as the regular Region 1 Blu-Ray set.

This Collectors Edition Tin Includes A Delorean blueprint, An 'Outatime' number plate, The Sports Almanac, Save The Clocktower poster & A Lenticular photo of Marty's family plus much, much more!

So I wonder if all these will be official replicas? The Outatime plate has been offered in the past with the Japanese 20th Anniversary DVD set, along with Doc's 1885 letter.

I am most keen about the The Sports Almanac they are offering.

It will be a Save The Clocktower poster! and not a flyer?

Marty's Family Photo Lenticular style.. nice :cool.

The German release includes a miniature DeLorean

Why we get only the miniature delorean?!?

But I want to see pics of that xollection first... who knows how it looks...

I'm curious about the Sports Almanac as well.
Perhaps the Almanac replica is being produced by Diamond Select?

Why? I think the capacitor is pretty cool, even if its inacurate. Never saw the license plate, but let them try. No-one must buy, and there is always the chance to make a better one...

The DS license plate isn't very accurate. DS doesn't always get the details wrong, however. Some of their Star Trek stuff was close enough that the ST Enterprise prop department used it on screen in the later seasons.
But if you want a really good looking OUTATIME plate, There is a guy on ebay who sells a screen accurate one.

I'm also actually working on correcting that big almanac cover image that was posted a while back, based on pictures of the originals. I'm just too much of a nitpicker to settle for "close enough" fonts and "authoritive". :lol
