I have had a very busy summer but here is an update for those of you who have been asking.
First, I do not collect money until I am ready to ship. Many people have requested to send money and I can assure you that money is not what has taken me so long. This is a policy I have adopted after seeing issues with other peoples sales threads. I apologize for the long waits, this is not my primary business nor do I plan it to be so I ask for your patience but I do promise it will get completed soon.
I will be shipping out the complete sets first as well as just the single battery packs as that was my initial intentions with the build. I will then be modifying the parts to fit the HC hoverboard nicely.
Since all my casts are open bottom casts, I need to sand away the bottom of all parts and I have not done that yet. Keep that in mind when looking at the pictures below.
The battery came out nearly flawless. The magnet has some minor imperfections that would not be visible in my opinion if painted properly.
Before anyone sends any payments I will be taking close ups of all the parts so there are no questions of quality.
For those that have asked I am using Oomoo 30 for molding, and Smoothcast 300 for casting. There is SLIGHT shrinkage compared to the original parts although even to me, it is not noticeable on a board.
In the picture, the magnet assembly on the left is a mess-up, I was not on an even surface and about an oz short on resin. I will be using this one as an experiment on how to bend it for the tailpiece bend.
Again, all parts need the bottom sanded flat.
If anyone is no longer interested in parts, I completely understand please let me know and I will take your name off the interest list.
