Howdy folks! I know i havent posted much in a while so here goes, this is a scratchbuild kit bashed model of a flattop that you might see with the 220 ships of the old bsg series.
This ship is 20" long and is mostly comprised of .060 and .040 and .020 styrene sheet and lots of model kits that were used to make the studio scale model.
I used reference of several types of flattops and this one im building has elements from all of them, this is also a work in progress.

Re: BSG RTF Flattop

Hokay, its been a while since i posted some pics so get ready, theres a lot of them.
So, i had finished the greebling and started to paint, and then do some scuffing of the paint and the tank broke off! but, it actually made the detail painting easier to do.

I always enjoy seeing someone doing their own work. I hope your pics showing the progression inspires others to take on their own projects as well.

Outstanding.
