to me.
Working on the top of the drive section. A couple of kit parts could be used right out of the box, others had to be up-sized from scratch.
This same detailed plate, thats kinda shaped like a grand piano lid, can also be seen on the Destiny in Stargate Universe.
I had to remove and steepen the angled pipes of the middle top / bottom engines.
Also.. something interesting about the four overhanging fantails surrounding the engines is that they don't just extent straight out the back, but rather each rear most tip bends up/down respectively by almost an inch.

Love the side mount! Is that a custom welded stand extension? Are you still using speaker/C stands?
Fantastic build, but what did we expect? LOL Finding a way to bring a CG creation like this to life can't be an easy feat. You must have had to figure out solutions for all sorts of challenges. Amazing work as always.

Its one of those heavy-duty speaker stands you'v seen me use with other big models with an aluminum welded elbow that slides into the armature.

These grates will go on the underside of the command section.
Behind is the oval slotted rail gun kit part, copied in basswood, already installed on the side of the command section.
About a hundred of these little guys line the sides of the ships main body.
These two dome mounts are rejects. Laser power was too high and burned the edges.
Some more bits either carved or cut out with the freakin laser beam.
