Bring Christopher Eccleston back to Doctor Who

I made this one for one of my friends - she's going to put it on a shirt...

Hey look, you even got the "Petite Misses" shoe size correct. :lol Sorry, but every time I look at his shoe on my shelf I feel like a giant.

I'm reading The Writer's Tale right now and dang is that good. It's reassuring to find out that the things I think are challenging are the same things the BBC finds so but at a massively larger scale. So I can think Misery Loves Company at the same time I think Boy Am I Glad That's Not Me.

Eccleston is my favorite doctor of the new series and second of my all time favorite doctors. It would make my inner fan boy jump for joy if he ever does return to the role of the Doctor.

And I've noticed something most male Dr. Who fans prefer Eccleston while most female fans prefer Tennant, at least those I've talked to.

little off topic but is the new doctor any good? I left the UK around the time Tennant was getting into the swing of things and i've only seem about 5 mins with the new guy. He seems wooden to me. Am i missing something? Is he actually a pretty good doctor?

He's actually turning out to be a fairly decent Doctor. He's been bolstered by, IMO, some really good scripts and storylines. I still prefer Tennant, but I think with time Matt Smith can grow into the role.

From Doctor Who, we have the following spinoffs that I am aware of:
The Sarah Jane Chronicles
Torchwood

I would really like to see "Amelia Pond's Legs" have a show all to themselves.
Diary of a Call Girl (Billie Piper) just doesn't do it for me. :lol

Also, is it just me or does Matt Smith just not look like he changes his underwear very much? He just seems to give off that vibe. That notwithstanding, he's turning out to be a fine doctor.

Matt Smith is best when he is allowed to slow down a bit, THAT'S when, dispite his youth, he really puts out the 900 year-old Timelord vibe. He seems more like Pertwee when he's calm and serious. I don't like it when he goes all manic and talks at 90 mph, it's just too much like Tennant.

I didn't like Eccleston at all. Hes my friend's favorite though. My favorite is Tennant followed by Smith.. It seemed like Eccleston was just acting as the Doctor, but Tennant and Smith ARE the Doctor to some extent.

Can someone point me to an article or something telling me about how Ecclestone had these issues while filming? This is the first I've heard of it.

The only issue I ever heard was that he was only interested in doing 1 year because he didn't want to be typecast.

That fact that he did 1 year and hasn't really been in anything notable since.... and Tennant did 4 and has since done Hamlet, Single Father, multiple chat and quiz shows, (and that's just off the top of my head) says more about Eccleston's attitude to the role than the role itself.
Would I like to see him in a multiple Doctor episode? Sure! 9, 10 & 11 together (heck, 8, too) would be great, but I doubt he'd do it.
