Another knife:

Not good enough! I re-worked it, making the towers taller and adding some "city" in the background (couldn't find the correct angle on Notre Dame).
Here's the newest. It's MUCH closer to the original. Thinking I'll print two copies, and cut the smartcard chip from one so that it shows underneath.
Perfect! How'd you find it? Here's the NEW final and corrected version (with correct picture and everything) Who wants to supply me with a sample back of a Télécarte phone card?
Man, if you need one of those lens cases, just let me know I get one every time I go to Sam's club and buy cleaning solution. Opti-Free puts one in every two pack of cleaning solution. I have a couple of spare and will likely have another spare next week. I always take backup lenses when diving, but jeez, enough of these cases laying about.
Moving right along:
I received the MacHasp dongles yesterday and they're perfect. An exact match right down to the type. Thank you RPF!
Also made a set of very respectable creditcard and phone card analogs yesterday:
I printed both sides on photopaper, and used super 77 spray glue to attach them to each other.
Then (this is still prior to cutting them out to the exact credit card shape) I laminated them. THEN I cut them out of the laminate, (I photoshopped crop marks into the file to make this easier) and for good measure ran the cut card through the laminator.
it wouldn't fool any cashier, but as a prop it's awesome. I'll post pix soon.
That is so funny. That is EXACTLY how I made my credit cards for my Die Hard wallet. It does work well enough.
Someone would make a killing if they could make prop credit cards from movies like the Bourne Identity, Die Hard, James Bonds, etc...
Adam, can you take a pic of all your aquired bag contents laid out just like the screen caps?
Adam, I think your post count has doubled since you started this thread. :lol
But if you want to make these credit cards you should invest in 2 things:
1) PVC card printer $800-$1500
2) OVC card number/letter embosser $200-$300
As far as making your own raised-letter credit cards, here's what I've learned:
Apparently all that's needed to make movie-quality excellent credit card replicas is a Zebra color PVC card printer (between 600 and 2k) and a PVC hand embosser (available on ebay for about 400 bucks) for the raised numbers and letters.
A bit more than I'm prepared to spend for a few cards.
