Blue Thunder (remake)

The killer drone movie has already been done. More a remake of "Stealth" than Blue Thunder.......

Ha. Stealth....

"I gotta go peepee."
"Well, at least she's potty trained."

"E.D.I. Extreme Deep Invader"
"Yeah, I've been called that a few times!"

"I'll call it a 'he' when it comes out of it's cockpit and takes a ****."

"Oh, pardon my c-cup."

"Would you like a cigar? Rolled on the thighs of mulatto women."

You and me. We're.. we're two.
Just tell me you love me, you pu**.

Thank you. This reboot of Blue Thunder sounds like a really good idea in comparison.

Well could be worse, at least they aren't remaking Scarface....

At least the alternate follow-up video game wasn't bad. Speaking of, if anyone is interested in a game that is TOTALLY NOT a videogame adaptaion of Blue Thunder, check out Thunder Strike.

I loved blue thunder when I was a kid, I wore that VHS out. I don't like the idea of a drone D:

I really don't understand the remake-itis when often times just doing a sequal would work just as well and respect all that went before.

Sure you could do a great new movie about law enforcement aviation with cutting edge tech.
No question there. And you could still have a hero pilot when the drone goes all Skynet on them. LOL

A remake with a drone would almost be worth it just to see what the drone itself would look like. I fly drones all the time, and I would LOVE to see what it would look like if the direction for the drone was "Make it look like the Blue Thunder helicopter". Dark blue armor, red lines, flat surface areas, ect.

Yeah no need to remake something twice.

I just don't see getting much drama with a guy or gal sitting in front of a monitor flying around a drone. It's not like they would be killed if the drone is shot down.

"Oh my god I'm going to crash and I will be...disconnected from my drone so I will just...have to sit here...

There's not much respecting of all that came before anymore.

Knowing Hollywood, what's going to happen is the drone gets shot down or otherwise disabled and the pilot/operator is going to end up getting into a big gun fight with the villain and it's going to end with the drone restored and shown patrolling the skies once again.

And instead of landing it in front of a train at the end to destroy it, they put it down in the middle of the 405 during evening commute...
