I dont get these - does the fact you have a light source right next to your eyes not mean your iris closes thus making it harder to see at night in the rain...especially hard in future LA.

Form over function it seems to me.

Lighted umbrellas like this have been on ebay for a LONG time now too. In various colors even.

It makes it easier for the motorists to run you down in the rain since they can see you better.:lol

If one half of the lighted shaft had a cover on it so you didn't have the light shining back in your face, it'd probably be a pretty cool thing to have for night time use. Illuminating your way, making you easier to see by motorists, etc.

Apologies. I wasn't trying to make you feel bad, I was just trying to let you know (or anybody) that there were others available, and in 4 or 5 colors I think.

And they are only like $25 too.
