So I have been slowly working on a 3d build of the DuplexDesign and Anders' snub nose mashup. It's been fun doing research on painting, weathering with oils and searching for parts. I chose to not do the hardware kit and to acquire the screws,springs, electronics myself and wire it up. I only started 3d printing and getting into "prop" building about a year ago, so I still have a LOOOOONG way to go, to produce same level of builds I see on here. I did really enjoy this build. Since the kit has different grip options, I may consider building more with different color combinations. However, as you can see I kept to the traditional PKD color combination. I also included a photo of the blaster before I did the weathering.....I'm really shocked at the differece between that and the end result. Hope you like the pictures.
