That badge was made at Earl Hays. It wasn't one of yours. The photo was pulled from Google to build the first one, prior to the photo that was put together by the graphics dept at Earl Hays. As we had no idea who had created that photo.PropsToHistory Well I guess I have to say that I'm pretty flattered that Earl Hays Press has one of the badges that I made back in 2018 and had a limited run here on the RPF, or at the very least jacked the photo from my WIP thread. Super cool that Adam was holding it during the video.
Kind of a bummer that Michael decided to dis the photo of Harrison Ford that I photoshoped myself to make the badge. Have to be honest, I like mine more
Good stuff, amazing that the printing block was found!

Blade Runner - Deckard's ID badge
I wanted to share my progress on making Deckard's ID badge from the original Blade Runner. Below is an original as photographed by Carl Tate and Richard Coyle at worldcon. I started off with a free blank ID badge by MikeJ located here...www.therpf.com
I think you meant to say thank you. That badge was made at Earl Hays. It wasn't one of yours. The photo was pulled from Google to build the first one, prior to the photo that was put together by the graphics dept at Earl Hays. As we had no idea who had created that photo.
I have no idea what this comment meansI think you meant to thank you.
You’re welcome![]()
It means the photo Earl Hays used from google is always linked back to my rpf post, which includes my name. In fact, it’s the first hit on Google images when you search “deckard ID badge”. So again, you’re welcome for using it, even if you decided not to credit.I have no idea what this comment means
The number on the list doesn't mean anything. The badges aren't serialized. It has only to do with the number being made available.I’m re affirming that I’d like to buy two. Btw, I posted interest in post #56, so I think I should be higher in the list. Thanks again for handling this run.
Ok thanks. I’m really only concerned whether I have the chance to buy the badges, and not the edition number. And currently, it looks like I’m out of the 50 slots currently allotted. Thanks again. The number on the list doesn't mean anything. The badges aren't serialized. It has only to do with the number being made available.
I think you’re good. Post #151 mentions increasing the RPF run from 50 to 75.Ok thanks. I’m really only concerned whether I have the chance to buy the badges, and not the edition number. And currently, it looks like I’m out of the 50 slots currently allotted. Thanks again.
You're actually number 69 or 75 (nice) 6 more spots availableWell I snoozed but I hopefully didn't lose. I'm in if more are made available.
