Fun....
If I can find a bulldog frame without buying the whole gun, I will have all the part's necessary... revolver wise anyway. and Rich your blaster kit Is awesome! but one day I would like to have a steel styer receiver bought or machined...

That's why I'm talking to a friend who's a machinist and metalsmith to just fabricate those pieces for me accurately... he said he can do it but it won't be cheap at all...
I have a Richard Coyle kit I'm getting parts for. just got the real front trigger In last week. a fine replica It Is. but I want a steel one. all steel......
Yes..I do know most of this...though many others may not. I have been studying the blaster for a few years now... aluminum is obviously way easier to work with...the aluminum frame will be considerably lighter AND cheaper for me to get made...cost is my main issue...I don't know why Sean needs all steel...it will be way too heavy as well!? The original prop used a Charter Arms .44 Bulldog...the grip frame is aluminum I believe... the rest of the gun is pretty cheaply made too...they were not the most reliable side arms to begin with from what I understand!??? However... the Steyr receiver was steel and all the other parts you mentioned...a combo would be just fine get all the BD parts you can find and get a frame made...put them on it and then get a Steyr made...bam...PKD...sounds easy...its NOT ..
