Blade Runner Blaster news: model kit version of the Tomenosuke Blaster is coming

How much do you think this kit will be? If a prebuilt one is about $1200, a kit would be $600-700?

Well, remember that all foreign labor is cheap, SO these will probably be $1165. The $35 is how much it cost to put it together in Japan. ;)

God, I want one. So. Bad.

But the prices on these things (I'm not holding my hopes very high for the kits being my kind of "affordable" or even "reasonable" price) still warrants me to just make one myself.

Same here. :(

Why is it this gun is so loved by replica collectors and sci-fi fans alike, yet there seem to be so few replicas of it, let alone affordable kits.

As amusing as that statement is, it is kind of true in that labor is a fraction there. Then why bother making a kit in the first place then? There's got to be a bigger incentive other than the fun of putting it together.

That's what I was hoping, an all metal replica. Still I really don't want to miss the opportunity of bagging a pre-made pro so will go ahead.

Just got to get through those pesky UK customs jobs worths!

scavnox i just got my coyle blaser in the uk from ritchard coyle ther was no problems at customs

and can i just say coyles version absolutely blew me away its incredible, while the tomenosuke one is good its just too perfect too clean..
the roughness of the coyle gives it character

however saying that id still love to have one

Inner box! :D

Really? It's enough of an incentive to me, and I can't be alone. Not that the economy or UK gun laws would let me indulge anyway.

It should be pointed out in the photo of the box insides there, only the box is representative of the kit. The blaster parts are represented by a disassembled PRO.

No word yet on what materials the actual kit will be made from.

Keep us posted, Karl!

I've always wanted one of these, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. This kit might be just what I'm looking for!

I read recently that Rich Coyle has retired, so this kit may be the only alternative if you're looking for a BR blaster.

I want to order the 'Worldcon' version.

I went to the Hollywood Collectors Gallery site but it's all in Japanese. Very confusing as I don't read Japanese.

Anyone know how I can order one of these?
