<2 minute trailer.... safe to say it's more a teaser than a trailer? I didn't think they were that far into production to even have enough for a trailer.
Yep, it's going to be a teaser trailer. Principal photography started in July, so they have plenty of footage to work with. Though I am guessing there won't be too many heavy VFX dependent scenes in this teaser.
Apparently trailer dropping earlier than expected, supposed to go up later today. In some ways plot sounds little familiar to The Force Awakens, though it seems more plausible after the way Blade Runner ended. Also I like the recent interview where Denis Villeneuve mentioned that the ambiguity about Deckard being a human/replicant won't be spoiled.
Synopsis:
“Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for thirty years.”
I didn't like the costume design with Ford in a grey t-shirt. And Gosling in black sweatshirt. But, it's a trailer. Head in the sand scenes colors remind me of BvS (and Prometheus) so not getting my hopes up yet. I mean, the essence of Blade Runner was the design, right? :lol
Warner Brothers licensed my freeware font (I told them it's free, but they insisted on paying). So the "2049" in the title is my design. I'm pretty excited and geeking out over it.
