That picture is a waxed fabric but it's denim and there wasn't a good way to get the correct color and fabric type with wax in it.

I like a lot the way the fabric shines in that pic.
I've seen a couple of videos people waxing coats with barbour wax and is similar. The barbour wax gives the jacket a leather look. That shine I'm talking about.
About distressing I was talking about the faux shearling fur.

I believe there is the option to add slightly thicker padding under the lining and use fleece instead of polyester as the diamond stitched fabric. I need to check on the additional cost.

He's still taking orders on a one off basis, says about 8-10 weeks. I'm sure he will be along to confirm this personally though.

I am counting the days myself both to be able to afford an order of my own, and so eager to see people's photos as they start to arrive.

Starting yesterday afternoon, Michigan has suddenly gotten too warm for winter coats, and today I found myself wishing I had a K coat for the early-spring-esque weather--so this is great to hear! Hopefully by the time it arrives, the winter cold hasn't come back too forcefully!
