Limited Run BLADE RUNNER 2049: Officer K (Ryan Gosling) Jacket/Coat - NOW SELLING

Just positing a slight inverse position - i'm all for changes to the coat if they result in a closer-to-screen end result (re: fur/coating/minor changes). not trying to stir anything, just my thoughts concerning my $$ on the table. trust in ya, zlurpo.

100% the same.

It's confusing, but for the regular sizes, measure over a jacket. For the custom size, it's better to have body/tight shirt measurements.

Is it the same principle as when you're measuring up for a suit jacket, where you need to account for the extra layer underneath by getting measured with the shirt on?
If that's the case, would it be an outlandish idea to get measured with the long sleeve wool knit jumper on (as on the original costume), so that it fits well over the top? Just curious.

Just a quick question as I'm unsure on measurments. I ordered a L and my chest is around 108-109 cm still would like to have the option to wear a hoodie under it, should I go for XL instead?

And do you have any news about the additional lining yet?

Thanks!

Edit: Measured my chest with a hoodie on, am at 110.5 cm that way

The coats won't be so slim fit that you can't fit a layer underneath them. 1 cm here or there shouldn't change much.

Lining will will a bit more padded than in my original photos, and will be less shiny. It won't be like a thick overcoat or anything.

For clarification, did you say the coat length will be an extra 2 to 4 inches longer to bring it closer to the knee?

Sorry, I am a bit lost in the procedure. Will the changes be shown/discussed with final pictures or we just receive them without any further consultation (mainly asking regarding the look, length and color of the fur)?
Thanks!

Yes, the standard length for all coats will be longer than shown in the sample pics, to bring it closer to knee length.

Changes will be made for the production coats, including switching the fur. If you want to wait and see what the first run version looks like before you place an order, you're welcome to do so. Be aware the second run may be full at that point (it's 25% full already). Visually, I don't think much will be obviously different.

zlurpo, i may not be able to give the custom measurements for my jacket until this weekend. im away from home on business. is there any time limit on these measurements?

That should be ok, but try not to let it take longer than that if you can!

Zlurpo, i have another question. If I take the measurements from a jacket as opposed to a dress shirt, does this effect the outcome? Is the dress shirt the only way you want the measurements to come from?

Okay i'm about to submit my measurements.

I'm curious will there be another prototype made up with the new fur and coating before the run kicks off?

I'm asking because I think I may request (if possible) to have my fur left un-dyed, depending what the final pieces look like with the jacket. What's going to be the optimum timing to get this request in?

For the custom sizing? If the jacket fits you perfectly then it should work, but only if it's thin. You could also measure the shoulders or sleeve measurement using a t shirt if it fits nicely.

ok thanks for the info! i will get the measurements to you as soon as possible!

Thanks! To come back to the lining do you think a more thick lining is a possibility or have you ruled that out yet?

There will not be another sample made at this point, only the production run. All of the fur is probably being dyed together, but if you're positive you'd rather have it un-dyed it might be doable if you let me know soon.

How thick?

Let me get it clear. Are you saying first run customers will receive the product with reddish fur without seeing how it actually looks like on the coat's collar and in a daylight??

Excellent, thanks for allowing me that option!

I'll be honest it's a difficult call to make without seeing the two different furs against the jacket itself. If there isn't a jacket made up until the start of the run, could the fur samples possibly be photographed against a piece of the dyed jacket material instead? Just to give us some context as to what it will all look like under the same lighting. You may well be dead on target with the new fur color, but it's not possible for us to really see that ourselves at the moment.

Thanks again for having responded to and dealt with all of my requests. I like to think I've contributed something, and not just been a pain in the *ss :D

What is the call for the silicone coating as well? Most of us liked that option. My measurements were sent yesterday and I am very positive that the color chosen for the fur will be good, given all of your previous attention to detail. I do think that the silicone will help tone down the lettering like the original so hopefully this route is chosen. Either way, I see we are all just waiting for your call. Will this coat be silicone treated?
