First look at The Armorer helmet, definitely looks like it will need some additional weathering and black washes

This helmet really should have been released two and a half years ago IMO. I'm sure many, including myself, have largely forgotten about or lost interest in the show.
The only other reason can think is if The Armorer is going to be prominent character in the 2026 release of "The Mandalorian & Grogu" film.
Edit: I didn't catch if the retail price was mentioned, but for the finish that helmet has I hope it's not more than $100. There's far too much modding/improvement needs to be done to even make it passable as a display piece.

agreed, I don't know who runs their development in deciding what helmets get made, but they wait years on some who fans loved, then release ones from the worst show (*cough* Acolyte *cough*) right away, haha. Then still don't give us Jango Fett who fans have literally been begging for,

Wasn't the issue with the Gen1 that it was never made IRL, & to make it to fit a human head it would significantly change the design dimensions?
I have seen a helmet with a removable front face plate

It was an issue with both Phase 1 (AOTC) and Phase 2 (ROTS) helmets.
I think that most few fan-made helmets in rotocast resin were supposed to be cut in half so you could have a screen-accurate neck ring, with either the front or the back off. (Unless you wanted it just as a display piece).
I think a possible alternative would be a removable neck ring. I think if you made it in a left and a right piece, you could make the seamlines line up with features that are supposed to be in the front and back of the helmet.

Edit: saw on a different site: Gamestop exclusive. that means without resellers impossible to buy outside of the US unless hasbro sells it at different stores in europe..... (US gamestop shop refuses european CCs and paypal even when you want to ship to a US address)

I have a lightly modified (the T-visor) one of the toy version they released with the movie, so I'm good on that front.
What I really want is the R1 Death Trooper and maybe a TIE Pilot. And possibly Jango Fett. Then I'm definitely done with helmets.
