I already have one of these and I don’t have much use for a second. I’m too lazy to fill in the dent for a repaint, but at $89 it really seems like a good deal. Can’t imagine it’ll go much lower.Yup... You beat me to it.

Yeah... I picked mine up last sale. Only reason I was considering it was my grandson has fallen in love with the Armorer & wants a 'boy helmet' with the horns. LOL
I broke and picked up the Bo helmet that was on a good sale on Amazon Canada. I generally only collect OT but I do have a few Mando pieces and thought I might start a little “Mando Corner” somewhere In the basement. A future Armorer helmet would round things out nicely.

I’d be surprised if we ever see a BS Armorer helmet. The inability to repaint and push another run makes me think it’ll never happen. My guess as to why we’re getting a scout trooper is that they have the option to repaint and offer an Ezra variant.

While repaints may factor into the choice of helmets to be produced, I do not believe it is the primary factor. After all, The Mandalorian, Vader, Kylo, and Bo Katana are most likely not be contenders for repaints. Even something like Poe's helmet which I would have loved repaints never happened.
I think in a lot of cases, if it is not a helmet that is currently related to something in production, they have to rely on something with staying power. The biker scout falls mainly in the latter although appearances in video games and streaming series helps. I also believe that someday we will get a TIE Fighter Helmet but if I have my way, it would be a HASLAB project with chest box and display stand. Maybe a pipe dream.

They already have most of what they need. The earcaps, "trident", panel clip greeblies, mohawk strip, and Michell needle box are about all that needs to be made, I think. Have they done anything that used the Michell pulleys? An Inferno Squad version -- with the aerators instead of hoses -- would likely be first. But I like your idea of a HASLAB variant with the life-support box and hoses. If it's HASLAB, d'you think we could get so hopeful as to think maybe the chestplate to mount the box to?
As for the Boba repaint... I've seen the heads-up posts for the various sales on Boba repaints, but I got my two early on, before any of the repaints were even thought possible. I don't need any more, and I've long since cut out and backed off the dents on them. I admit, it's been a little frustrating watching the dentless repaints come along and just not need them. *grump*

Only the Mandalorian/BoBF repaint makes sense. I think they should have bit the bullet and made a clean version of the whole helmet as opposed to just the crown for all the other helmets.

Now that I go back and think about it. It think this was an item Hasbro is not doing pre-sales on. There were some rumblings of Hasbro not doing anymore preorders for 2023 but then they started announcing more items for 2023 and taking pre-orders. However, I don't know what is going on overseas but here in the US, no one (legitimate retailer), even Hasbro Pulse is pre-selling.
Also refreshing my memory, the images when announced had the product and packaging images which means it was not a pipeline item so Summer (mid June to mid Sept) release is still reasonable.
They had a in-hand prototype at swce. And toy-palace doesnt ask for a deposit on those, i already bought a few black series lids there
BBTS has the artillery stormtrooper and Bo Katan on sale right now. Looks like the Bo is also a “preorder” with an expected shipment this month

So I was helping my buddy move his han in carbonite into his dinning room last night
Yes you heard me correctly, that’s when he showed me his hasbro fett helmet and it’s paint like.. changing
The photos really don’t show it well, but there is now like streaks in the finish. You can rub it with your fingers and everything is smooth, it’s like it’s changing underneath or something
He’s had bad luck with this helmet since the beginning. We had both ordered ours on hasbros pre order, and the week Covid was announced I found a ton of them at Walmart. Even posted a photo here with me holding them all
He canceled his order and bought one at Walmart
When he came home he noticed the top part of the helmet the dome, the paint application wasn’t aligned correctly..
So he ended up returning it for another one, sure enough same thing
We also noticed he wasn’t alone, and a few others on here posted they miss alignments
I was curious if anyone else’s is doing this

No issues with mine. I would like to know if anyone else has this problem. I also wonder if your friend used any type of product like a cleaner that might have affected the helmet.

I have two, no issues. The second one hasn't been broken down yet for modding. If he wants a correctly-aligned dome, I'd be happy to swap. I did that with the first one with someone else on here...
