Bioshock infinite Vigor bottles

After scaling my bottle reference to my hand Im pretty sure its 2" diameter for the round labels.
Ill have some progress worth showing within a week, I had to brush up on my female anatomy.

Are we talking about the 'sticker' including the embossing around it? Because my Shock Jockey, with the sticker and metal around it at 1.75" in diameter, clocks in at 11" tall. Does 11" sound right for the bottle?

Also, what would a good wall thickness be for the bottle? I've got it at 5mm right now, and ShapeWays has it at $160.

Edit: As for keychain-sized bottles, does anyone have ideas for LED circuits? Push button on the bottom, switch on the back, etc...

I scaled mine to my hand and the bottle itself is around 8" tall and with the cap and jockey its just under 11". I found that the my label area (not counting the rim around) is around 1".

Hope this helps.

Are your printing it in Strong White and Flexible? Mine was about $144 for all three pieces, but my bottle has no base as I plan to fill it with resin and make it solid. The Cap and the Jockey were also polished so it was $1 extra per piece.

My bottle wall is about 1/16" (1.5mm).

But that 1.5mm will be reinforced by all the resin. I'm wondering what thickness will provide enough structural support on its own. Thanks for the info though.

Excellent!

Have this series lined up on my XBox...looks quite interesting.

to those here who uploaded the files to shapeways and bought it how big are they?

If you're talking about my files, they've become outdated, and at the time weren't scaled to any particular unit. I've been working on getting them into ShapeWays-ready condition, and now have them at 1:1. Here's a link to the collection. I'll get Charge uploaded sometime this week as well as working out the best design for keychains.

Ill be posting progress soon for the devils kiss. I had to study up on female face proportions as I tend to make my faces MEAN and masculine :lol definitely NOT what needs to be done for a sexy she devil!

Sorry for posting that in progress image a couple weeks ago and then just leaving. Been quite busy with school work. Anyways my Undertow Vigor is pretty much done.

I made the octopus with baking clay and simply baked it in the oven straight onto the bottle. Worked perfectly.

I still need to do a second pass of paint on the octopus, and of course there's the cork which I haven't even started on. Still for my first time doing something like this I feel pretty good about it.

Coming along swimmingly :D

Which paint did you use? I'm looking everywhere online and can't seem to find any haha

Hey guys... I was directed here from Reddit... This is my Shock Jockey vigor
I am still working on the Jockey... open to suggestions as I am unable to find one in the correct position.

Looks great. What did you use I don't mean any offence but I looks a little big?

Okay, so I am no BeShifty but here is my first attempt at 3D modeling. I wanted to create a Vigor but that proved too tricky for this newbie so I decided to start off with a Plasmid bottle from Bioshock 1 instead (I needed something symmetrical). It is not finished yet but after many hair pulling moments I feel like it is finally starting to come together. I am trying to design it with 3D printing in mind and my goal is to maybe have fluid or an LED inside. All of that is a long ways off but hopefully I can pull something decent off. :)
