Beware the Batman Premieres July 13th on Cartoon Network

It's not as good as the BTAS, and I don't think anything will ever be as good as BTAS, but at least it gets us Batman on the small screen. Better that than nothing !

Thats because BTAS was on network television, in a different day and age. Back before we had whole cable networks devoted to cartoons 24/7. Afternoon/After School programing was definately viewed differently back then. My kids, don't get up early in the morning rushing to the TV to catch their favorite Saturday Morning Cartoon, like I remember doing.

They don't? That's funny because my kids do that even though I'd rather they sleep in on the weekends.

They show isn't terrible at all, but the villains and story line needs to be better for sure. Not exactly a fan of a female robin, nor having Alfred be this bulky military guy.

Ugh...so much wasted potential...something is missing here. Batman has his morals in place. I just haven't enjoyed any episodes. My kids don't my watching it though.

Kinda like the show, but indeed Bat's forehead is really weird, even weirder is that Bruce Wayne looks fine, I actually like his character design, he just apparently become disproportionate once he put the cowl on... The bat-belt is cool though. Maybe the animation will get better if the show finds an audience, and I hope it does. It's not as good as the BTAS, and I don't think anything will ever be as good as BTAS, but at least it gets us Batman on the small screen. Better that than nothing !

That's what so weird about the character design, it's as if the cowl does something to Bruce's head. On the bright side, this is probably the first Batman incarnation that nobody would ever guess that he's really Bruce Wayne since there's no way that Bruce could be Bats since Bruce has a regular forehead while Bat's is almost non-existent.
