I've searched the forums, but would like to get some updated opinions.

What is the clay some of you guys are using to sculpt and mold from?

I've used Chavant NSP, but I am curious about WED clay (I know it stands for Walt E. Disney).

When I attended the Imagine Nation Expo in Vegas in '04, Jordu Schell gave a great demo on sculpting and he uses WED clay.

It looks pliable enough, but looks almost too soft. I am only familiar with Chavant medium and hard and it is a little difficult to work with unless you keep warming it up, but it does keep wonderful detail.

It's been more than a decade since I've worked with any sort of clay/plasteline so if those of you who work with it regularly, could you please update me?

Thanks!

Theres a soft version of Chavant that is a terracotta colour. I use that aswell as a fine water based clay. :)
