Best and Worst actors of all time..

Best for me is Steve Buscemi. Never saw him in a role I didn't like. Plus I always wanted to see him play Maximum Carnage in a Spiderman movie.

Worst hands down is Will Ferrell. I hate every role he played that he tried to be funny in. He just come off really annoying.

I like the way you think and couldn't agree more.
Especially about Ferrell. He blows!

The thing about Cage is he has been good in films like Raising Arizona, Leaving Las Vegas, Moonstruck, and a very few others, so he has it in him somewhere but can't seem to tap it at will like other actors and 99% of directors can't seem to pull it out of him. Sometimes you cringe at how dreadful he is in films and how equally dreadful the films are themselves and you have to wonder if Lorenzo Llamas turned them down.

And as much as I don't like guys like Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler, they're primarily comedians and not serious actors, so I can cut them some slack. I just don't watch their films.

Agreed, Cage has some good ones also, so not the worst. Arnhuld... No matter how much I love the films, as an actor hes horrible. And he made it his trademark.

Best, I agree about Ewan McGregor. Damn, he can play anything and he is brilliant anyway. And one hell of a singer! I really think Tom Cruise is great also, but he cant do the variaty of roles.

I second Keanu as the worst ever, followed by Nick Cage though he's gotten better in recent years, I thought that he was pretty good in Kick Ass and the Sorcerer's Apprentice, he really seemed to be enjoying himself in both roles and in both he didn't actually fall back on playing either down & depressed Nick or maniacal, crazy Nick.

Best actor, that's hard to say (so many good ones out there) but Dustin Hoffman is definitely one of them, he's always different every role. Gary Oldman is another great one, he's such a great character actor and plays a wonderful heavy. Another good one is John Noble, from Denethor to Walter Bishop this man has range; it was great watching him in the last couple of seasons of Fringe alternating between Walter and Walternate, you could really see the difference in the way he played the two characters, not something that you see with every actor.

Naming a few is hard when theres soo many really good actors out there. Russel crowe hasnt been named tho i think and hes one of my favourites. I like Bale aswell Just for his dedication he can put in roles like the machinist or even Batman.

For worst ill joint the majority and say Cage :)

I really couldn't name one "best", Daniel Day Lewis, Gary Oldman, Kurt Russell, Tom Hanks, just to name a few.

As for the worst?

Halle Berry. Halle Berry. She's terrible in EVERYTHING she's in.

Nick Cage isn't a great actor, but I at least enjoy his movies, and his hokey acting.

:lol It's a good thing he is gone because you would be cursing his name if he ever crapped on one of your scripts! :lol

Love Mason too, he had such range!

Best by far no others even come close is -- BRANDO - I'll say it again - MARLON BRANDO.

Check it out Apollo - I actually got to meet Marlon through his son Miko. Miko is a huge film guy who used to be friends with Tim Snyder - a video effects guy at Digital Domain. I asked Miko to read My script Instant Karma and he loved it - told me his father was looking to do VO work and asked if he could pass it to him next time he saw him - so cut to 3 months later and I'm at Marlon's lawyer's office and he walks in with a huge grin - shakes my hand then went into a 40 min discussion about me being Mexican and how much he loved my people - was hard to tell him i can't speak spanish - he said he'd love to do any character i needed him for - for scale. He was incredibly nice and funny as hell. He signed my Superman poster as well as my Streetcar named Desire one - we talked for another 40 min and he asked for my number. He never called me but he only lived another 3 months . One of the best memories i have ( up there with meeting Michael Jackson).

And weird as this is - i've never really cursed anyone who rags on my scripts - i'm such a glut for torture i always think they are honest and the ones who say it's good are just being nice.Ha!

I don't know why everyone is hating on Brad Pitt...pit that man in a David Fincher movie and he works his magic...also, Inglorious Bastards was phenominal.

Some of the best are Sam Rockwell, Brando, Lewis, Bill Murray (he's undeniably hilarious), Pacino, Denzel for the most part, and so many more that I can't think of right now.

As far as terrible actors...Keeanu Reeves and probably the worst ever, save for his performance in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Mattew Broderick. Also, Queen Latifah, don't even get me started...

Off the top of my head without giving it any thought.

Best: Morgan Freeman! No matter what movie he is in, he sells the character. I've never seen anything he is in where I felt there could have been a better cast choice.

Worst: George Clooney. Would not even be in the business if it were not for Rosemary! Stiff as a board and for some reason, thinks that CONSTANTLY MOVING HIS HEAD in a variety of directions is acting! The only thing he did extreemly well was The Fantastic Mr. Fox.

Best for me, Gary Oldman, Ed Norton, and Daniel Day Lewis. Old school, Eastwood, Newman, Pacino, Deniro.

Worst, Cage, Swayze, K. Reeves (I know ironic with my avatar), Madonna, Pitt, and Costner.

I'm not a huge fan of Pitt... but he was briliant in "12 Monkeys."

Sam Rockwell skyrocketed on my best list after watching him in "Moon."

I would put Tom Hanks up there.

Worst?

Jean Claude Van Damme, Megan Fox (really?), and believe it or not... Arnold Schwarzenegger (love him as a larger than life character, inspired me growing up, but not a great actor).

Time to get the ladies involved. Halle Berry was mentioned above, but Cameron Diaz, Uma Therman, Melanie Griffith all stink. Each has given a few good performances here and there, but overall they're weak at best. Kim Basinger was solid in L.A. Confidential, but never before or since.

The best this year are mostly Tv-show actors to me

-Tom Noonan , just love this guy's acting ever since I saw Manhunter....I don't know why exactly but I love all his badguy roles
-Jim Caviezel, Modern day Clint Eastwood to me, if they ever do a Dirty Harry remake, he's the guy to be him....Not that they should even consider remaking Eastwood stuff....pure blasphamy.
-Ron Perlman, way to uncredited as a great actor , as Clay in SOA he's unmissable, you just feel the tention boiling when he's on screen...
-Steve Buscemi as Nucky Thompson......
-Jessica Lange, I just love the way she plays her role in American Horror story, she added even more in the second season, I just love how she got punished by Santa, heheheh.

The worst actors, can't think of any yet who take the cake that obviously, but missed a bit of excaptional acting in series like True Blood this year for instance.

I think it's the golden era of Tv-shows, Like movies were in the Mid-eightees.

Best for me : De Niro, Al Pacino, are the greats. Really liking alot of Tom Hardy's stuff right now.

Worst : Orlando Bloom, Nick Cage, Val Kilmer.

Iv always like Tarantinos cameos in puilp fiction and desperado
