Ok, here is then thing... Next Friday (June 25th) I'm going to an event where I will be dressed up as a Hogwarts student. I'm working on some props and it would be awesome to have some Every-Flavor Beans with me. I've searched and searched and cannot find any good reference of the box, so please help me?

Better yet, if anyone has actually made the box and would be so gracious as to share with me, that would be fantastic. (I have no intention to use it for profit, merely to add to my costume.)

I know that th WWoHP is selling them (IN THE ACTUAL BOXES) at honey dukes. But i guess you'd have to buy them that way, so heres a pic of the ones from the park.

Yeah, if I could, I would go there and purchase them myself, but it's not exactly "around the block" as it where... :p

Hi berkley !
Is that one yours?
If so , could you do a closer photo in bigger resolution of all sides? I´ll like to get one from the park but it´s difficult unless they sell them online.
Thanks!

Hey Cristobal
I'm pretty sure that if you keep a watchful eye on ebay (which i do) you'll most likely find one. But no its not mine i found the pic on inside the magic, wow that guy sure went on a shopping spree! You'll find pics of his chocolate frog boxes and cards aswell as his bertie botts beans. Wizarding World of Harry Potter offers exclusive and unique merchandise | Inside the Magic
Sorry i dont really know how to attach many things yet.

If you know anyone going to Orlando, but not visiting that park.... Universal converted their store at the Airport into a Harry Potter themed store. You can buy it there. They carry alot of the stuff from the WWofHP park there.

Sadly I know no one going to Orlando. I live in Norway, and Orlando is very far away. I think I'll have to do without this time, but maybe I'll somehow get my hands on an authentic box of Bertie's later.

The shop of W.W.o.H.P. Is going to be online soon. However you can call them at 877-318-2732 or e-mail mailorder@universalorlando.com. Then tell you what a box or two

I asked them and they won´t sell this online ... as well as chocolate frogs...maybe none of the candys will be shipped through the online shop...:cry:cry:cry
I understand this will be due to problematic shipping / maintenance of product or aduane problems with food

Well, Jelly Belly has apparently picked back up the license for the beans, so they'll probably hit the market in the boxes eventually.

Well, that's interesting! Has Jelly Belly has the license before then? I which case, did they sell Bertie's in the boxes we see in the movies before also?

Yes, Jelly Belly had the license (through Cap candy) for quite some time. They dropped the license a few years ago and started manufacturing the Bertie Botts flavors as Bean Boozled. (Bean Boozled was actually cooler because they have one good flavor and one bad flavor but the colors are the same.) Now they have the license back. The first round of licensed packaging was in boxes or fabric bags.

Interesting story told to me by a friend. (She taste tested beans.) The vomit flavored bean is actually a failed attempt at a pepperoni pizza bean!

Ah, interesting. So the little purple/blue boxes are Jelly Belly's? I think I've seen them before.

On another note, I stumbled across an eBayer who offers to go to wwohp and buy things for you. Apparently they live 5 minutes away from the park (!). Also, the eBayer won't actually sell you the item before they have it themselves, so it seems like a nice deal.
I sent a message asking if she could buy a box of beans for me and send just the box. I think foods would be a problem in customs... I'll just buy some regular jelly belly beans here to fill it with if needed I think.

That is pretty cool of them.... but do they charge a surcharge? I mean, doing it on Ebay, they must make money somehow??

On a side note.... I live here in Orlando. I might not get to the park soon, but I can pop in to the gift shop at the Airport for $5.00 parking, and I can buy the stuff in the UNiversal Shop there. Maybe I can get a list together of interested people, and do a run over there. I would just charge the cost of the item and actual shipping.... no extra.

Oh, that's an interesting proposition! I would do that if I where you, gather some who are interested. I'm sure you'd get a lot of response on it ;D

Me too !!!
I´ll like to get some things
And of course , ebay sellers get money for do that.
Moviefreak , add me to the list if you do it!

I am shocked anyone wants to make money off of helping out. That is what this community and forum is about, to offer help without profiting. So let me see what items I can find out are available at the airport store, and I can get a list to post. Then we can take it from there.
