Bender ~ Futurama 2-Day Costume

Good news everyone! My Bender costume is ready for his first Con (Portland Comic Con by Wizard) this weekend! He will be joined by Fry and Leela and then it'll be off to some clubbing later in the night!

He's not perfect, but his base only took 1.5-2 days to build, then I did some upgrades for this weekend. Anyways here he is, not standing totally straight because I didn't want the antenna to scrape the ceiling.

Nope! I have an idea for that tho, and fake beer labels and sexy robot pics to hang on the inside of the door. I don't want to risk something not going right after such an alteration so close to the Con date.

He does have a Slurm label riveted to his butt! I may make his eyes light up before the Con, we'll see how much time I have as I'm prepping 5 costumes for the weekend.

Looks awesome! I added 1/4 circles felted black over the top of the eyes that pivoted on the corners to make him angry when I needed to, and a fake cigar held in place with a neodymium magnet so I could talk with it in my hand and then pop it back in place. I kept my cell phone, wallet and keys in the chest panel :lol
