Someone asked me via e-mail about the fabric for the cloak and tabards that hang below the belt. Based on the high resolution image he sent me of the costume being exhibited, the tabards look like Monk's Cloth with some sort of corded piping added to the edges and the cloak looks to be made of a boiled wool with tattered edges.
Hopefully that might narrow your textile searches for those looking for fabrics.

I suspect the green crystals are intended to be along the lines of the tainted Nightsister crystals, created from the magical ichor of Dathomir. The green mist related to Nightsister magic was seen when Marrok died, which conforms to the canon of Savage Opress' death. Green is the theme.

Does anyone have a definite lock on the overall length of Baylan's lightsaber?
From everything that I can gather online, it's around 12.5 to 13 inches long... I'm trying to scale up my 3D stl file to be more accurate.

It is a match for Baylan's tunic clasps, reference photos behind spoiler tag. Color could be vintage black or matte black that has been distressed.

A clearer image of the back of Shin's tunic from episode 6 (behind spoiler tag). The discontinued clasps are a match but are unfortunately sold out.I think I found the clasps on the back of Shin's tunic. Silver is sold out but gold is still available. Hoping someone can help identify the manufacturer or find the silver ones elsewhere.

I know action figures aren't reliable as far as details go, but during the HASBRO Livestream today they showed the Baylan Black Series figure, & they were quick to point out some details specifically mentioned that his costume pieces have a green patina, similar to aged copper.
His lit lightsaber is also MUCH longer than a usual saber length, mainly to convey the idea of a longsword.
Not sure if that helps because I'm not a costume guy, but thought I'd share.

I've been studying Baylan Skoll's costume since he first appeared in the trailers. As a long time Ray Stevenson fan (loved him since Rome), I'm working on a Baylan Skoll costume as a tribute to him. Some details I've noticed:
Many of Baylan's costume details aren't black. They actually appear to be very deep green. Including his pauldrons and bracers. Or at least they have a green augmentation. Both in the Ahsoka fan event images and the BTS tribute photos of Ray Stevenson, his chest armor is deep green. I'd thought that in the fan event photo, the costume might have been lit subtly green. But I don't think so comparing it to the BTS photo, which is in daylight. When comparing the Baylan costume to Ahsoka's in the fan event photo, it appears to be distinctly green. And there is green verdigris on the pauldrons.

The chest harness also appears to be made of at least two different fabrics or leathers. It seems pretty clear in the BTS photo. I -think- it's a faux leather. The same that is used in the trim of the hood (which is black, not green). His cloak, undertunic and the rest of his kit all appears to be black, (turned grey by the harsh light in the fan event images).

Yesterday, we learned that Ahsoka star Ray Stevenson has passed away aged 58. His co-star, Rosario Dawson, has since taken to social media to share a tribute and new behind-the-scenes photos from set.sffgazette.com
Baylan's grieves are chevroned like his chest armor and I can't really tell, but may also be deep green to match his chest. They are closed with what looks like a double d-ring and strap arrangement that starts on the opposite side of the grieve. It looks like there is a hidden stirrup strap. It appears he's wearing a calf height boot beneath the grieves based on the bulge below the top strap. The boots are squared toe with a plain, stitched on leather sole and a relatively low heel. They look like a western or work boot, but I've been trying to find something similar, but so far haven't been able to identify them.

There are good photos of Baylan's "belt buckle", but so far no really good, detailed photos have shown up of his ring. But the stone in both buckle and ring also appear to be green - not black. They don't appear to be obsidian. In the Twitter advert image, the whole picture is tuned toward black, it makes his entire costume look black. But both the stone in the buckle and ring appear green.

All the green with Baylan is there for a reason. What that is, is unclear. But if we look at him as an analogue of an Arthurian knight, Gawain becomes the obvious association. Gawain and the Green Knight, etc.
These are just some observations I've made that will hopefully help other builders to create epic Baylon costumes. I think that would be a fitting tribute to a great actor who was taken too soon.

I keep going back to Harley Davidson for Baylan's boots. They have several styles with varying degrees of squareness in the toe. Just have to wait for a good view of the treads to know for sure.

Zooming in, that looks very much like crinkle cotton to me, the same stuff I've made Jedi tunics from in the past.
