Some of the videos I've seen posted look amazing.

So how is the squad leader feature? I read they took out the commander in favor of a squad leader. Is it better, worse?

I've downloaded it, but can't get into servers.. Also, it's taking me to a browser instead of in game?? Haven't played Battlefield before, been a CoD boy.. But so far not impressed seeing I can't even play it..
Hey does anyone know if they have a name reservation thing like they did going from BF2 to 2142?

On pc I kept getting an error when using Windows Explorore but I have no issues via Firefox.

I played extensively in the early Beta and last night while I Love the game, I can honestly say MW3 for me is going to be better. I have played both games now and I think BF3 is going to be a a game I play alot of I just like the feel of MW3.
I absolutely love in BF3 the gun attachements they finally got it right after MOH, I hated in BF2 you could only get certain guns with a suppressor and certain attachements. I love in this how the kills you get with a weapon unlock better attachments ala MW.
The one feature that makes a huge difference for me and this will sounds kinda eh, The quick wall hop you can do while running this makes getting places fast so much easier!

The crawling and wall hopping for me are 2 small things that made me fall absolutely in love with this game. Very simple, but it just adds so much to it.

I tried it for about an hour last night, it was frustrating at first because Im a COD guy and i've never played Battlefield before. I was confused no what I was supposed to do and I had trouble with kills. On the second round I finally understood what I was supposed to do and then I figured out the different classes.
After a little while I got the hang of the aiming and timing and started to enjoy myself. I don't think it will convert me but it does seem like a good game. I also loved the running wall hop. I wish they had something like it in the COD franchise, it made movement alot more fluid and fast.

Downloaded the beta this morning. First I got an error that caused the game to do nothing so I had to exit the game, go back to my xbox dashboard and try again. Then I get an error saying that the connection to EA online was down.
Ok, now after letting the game sit for 10 minutes, did it actually load.

Dolphin Dive was the only good thing about whack ops, you can kind dolphin dive in this one, lol.
When I got the error message about connecting, I turned my xbox off then back on and it worked fine.

This is just a beta, keep in mind, most the issues you are experiencing will be fixed. Lot's of people been posting on the forums about them.

I have been a loyal fan since Battlefield: Modern Combat. Loved Battlefield: Modern Combat 2, Bad Company and Bad Company 2. I am not a COD hater, in fact, I love COD single player campaign, much better the BF single player, but hate COD multiplayer. On the flip side, I love Battlefield's online play, and don't like the single player campaign.
Downloaded BF3 Demo today and so far it wasn't clicking with me. It felt too much like COD, but I will still give it a chance. I didn't like the demo of Bad Company 2 when it came out, but as I played more maps and got use to the new interface, I loved it.
I love the BF online play mostly because of the vehicles and larger maps. I tend to have a slightly longer life span in Battlefield than COD.
I really hope this Battlefield pans out. The one thing I am excited about is the ability to pilot a jet. Reminds me of Frontline: Fuel of War (which by the way, despite the glitches, wasn't a terrible game).
