Batman Grappling Gun Case Build/Help

Hi folks,

I wanted to start a thread to show the way I intend on storing my begins Grapple Gun that I got off GG on this forum (Thanks GG!)

We got these new drills at work and they came in awesome cases so I decided to chance my arm and ask for them.

They are really strong and durable. I had to remove the stickers with a heat gun but unfortunately the Logo is spraypainted on. I think I may use a Wayne Enterprises logo I could print off or get a plate engraved to cover the drill manufacturer logo.

For the inside I plan on having the grapple gun and 3 extra clips recessed in foam.

For the inside of the lid I have this metal frame I made at work and piece of perspex that I'm going to mount into the lid. I would like to put the Wayne enterprise grapple data print I have seen on this forum in the past. I used to have the file but unfortunately I have lost it. I cant seem to find it anywhere. This is where I would ask for your help... If you can help me find this printable or know someone who may have it and help me put an awesome touch to this project.

I have attached a picture that I found but the detail is poor. I would like to be able to print that in A4 size with good detail if someone could sort me out with the file.

Anyway back to the Case: I plan on putting two Leds either side of the metal frame with the grapple data image so the Gun and clips will be illuminated.

I would love to know what you guys think Of this build or if you guys have any suggestions I would love to hear them...

Thanks To Gregday for the Grappling gun Data sheet! Big help man Thank you!!

Already printed out and in the frame almost ready for mounting. I used a A4 card for printing but I think I will use A4 Photo paper tomorrow for better quality print...

Will Update again soon! Thanks for reading!

Those are great cases. I very nearly bought a DeWalt drill I don't need just to use the case for my gear.

Ya they are awesome. It really adds to the realistic factor of the grapple. I could not believe my luck when the housing for the drills popped out leaving it just an empty case. I hope to maybe make one of these to display my utility belt and rangs. Maybe I'll send a picture of the finished project to dewalt. Funny to see how they would react to a different use of their cases. Maybe they would do a run for us haha :)

If you need custom foam, check out mycasebuilder.com

They have a tool that lets you design your own detailed layout online, and they'll professionally machine cut the design in either soft or rigid PE foam. That's my plan once I finalize all my pieces and decide on the layout.

Just checked out that site it's awesome i will for sure get a quote if my method fails. It's good to know about that site thanks for the info!

At work we use these neoprene seals to keep water out of storage tanks we make. Pictured are the two sizes we use. I can get it off the supplier up to 25mm thick and any size length and width so I'm gonna try this out first as this is more or less at hand. It's really firm and cuts with a scalpel quite well so I'm gonna throw my hand at doing this myself. Hopefully it works out!
