Batman Cape Pattern Question

Long time lurker here who adores the work and quality people here have produced emoticon
Basically I want to make a circular cape, and have 8 yards of 60" black material. But I am unsure how to cut out the triangles, I can't work it out , I'f I cut it out lengthways then surely i would run out of room? How do you do it?

make some triangle with paper and look how you can place it on your fabrics.

I made one of these, but only made six panels of the circle, I got a big piece of card board drew a triangle added tabs like the sort you get on a card board model. Then laid it on top of the fabric and cut it out. Buy some wonder web to speed up the process of stitching it all together. I used a bra clip on the collar to hold it around my neck.
