Batman boots

Most of what Ive seen and read on here is that gotham100 boots seem to be the norm...are there another suggestion on some cool Batman type boots?

Guess it depends on what Bat you're going for. Looks like the boots you mention are the mainstay for Nolan suits and possibly comic suits, if one is to believe Google Image Search.

As for cool boots - if you're doing a generic batsuit, I would imagine there are a bunch of leather boots out there that would do the trick. Motorcycle boots could be one option. Or you could go the Keaton suit route, and mod a pair of trainers with boot tops and armor parts.

Guess it boils down to what kind of suit you have in mind.

yeah..i can see that. So far, its a mash of rubies with begins and a lil walmart...and a touch of home made...lol
but the kids that ive met and took pics with doesnt seem to mind that its not a specific movie accurate suit....but what hurts my feelings is that after the event or whatever is over and I change back into tshirt and jeans, no one wants a pic with me...lol
but yeah I like the gotham100..but they just seem kinda plain with chest n leg armor...i dunno...plus for the money, ya could buy a pair of cool biker boots...

UD replicas have 2 different style of batman boots. One looks like the 89 style, the other are the Nolan style. They are incredible, comfortable, and screen accurate.

The gotham 100s are okay, but a bit baggy in the calf area. Gatekeeper has some great suggestions there too. Just depends on what style you are looking for, and what your budget is.

I have some old GBX moto boots I like that are no longer being made but are very similar to these: Xelement Men's Black Leather Executioner Motorcycle Boots - LeatherUp.com

They aren't screen accurate, but they fit well and are good for walking in. They aren't costume boots (that goes a long way towards comfort and durability) and they are similar to something a real Batman might wear.
