Batman Begins 1:1

So why can't you talk about the 3D scans of Bale in the suit that your boy used to build this suit?? Cause they are common knowledge to my knowledge, I've had them since the film came out, and since then at least 6 or 7 other people besides you have their hands on them. I didn't think at this point in time that they are a secret. Much like the TDK suit, bane head and ledger.

he did a great job digitally correcting all the areas that were softened out in the original scans. still can't think of why they did that to the digital double, making the suit look like it has fewer seams is pointless when the digital version is never seen clearly enough to make out that kinda of detail in the film, but they did it and they did a sloppy job of it which shows they were in a big hurry.

Clinton,

gauntlets look good, but why double magnet them, when they could barrel hinge from one side and mag lock closed?? (you'll find barrel hinging on lots of metal armor in history)

that way when you karate chop the bad guys, your wrist doesn't send the gate popping/flying off~

unlllllllleeeeeeeeeesssss you want them to and maybe that's how they came up with the idea for the ejector fins on the tdk gaunt! LOL

BATS is an infamous troll so I would ask that nobody feed him. He thrives on it. Just quickly check his history here.

But I will say this as his post is quite poorly informed...as usual. This is not a cleaned up version of the scans. No where at all. Abs , spine, knees, and back were scratch modeled. Granted the scans were used as reference but the detail was so poor that cleaning it up wasn't an option. Even then Finhead modified the prints.

Now back to your "Cave" where people pretend to care what you say.

Don't get nasty duffus I was being nice and I've never trolled a single thread of yours, just your ***** buddy david when he starts to make stuff up.

in your very first post you mentioned cleaning up the scans, and the scans are perfectly great to build over, I know someone doing exactly that with the results being a very accurate remake of the original armor

if I was trolling I would point out all the mistakes you made by scratch building and changing things from the original, despite having those said models to go from, but who the helllllllllllllllllll cares about that , it didn't change the overall suit at all, and its pointless to point those out when you really had nothing to do with the modeling or mastering now does it, so I'd only be insulting Finhead not you, and I've not a reason in the world for that.

So not sure why I even bothered with you, your not the one to talk to anyways since its Finhead who actually has all the talent in your group and is responsible for every piece of decency that you've ever been allowed to offer. You couldn't even get the capes right.

And don't ***** about the cave and how you couldn't handle a true critique of "your" work because my first exposure to your work looked like it was sanded with a fork. And based on the work Finhead put into those clips, its awfully disrespectful of his efforts and the originals.

So now that you turned it to me to be honest I have been. Moving on to talk with talent instead of a wannabe.

"75% of this build is not Zbrush or 3D and what was has been highly modded by myself."

Finhead/Clinton,

The only point I can pick on in all your mastering work is that you went so short on neck core, no room to bolt to anything should you someday venture into coring and injection pulls. A core would save you from having to double layer your foam and makes for a much much liter and easier to pull piece, not to mention wear.

Since I'm sure you made the molds too, did you enjoy how close the lats and ceratus muscles are to each other, leaving you on room for shims~ or did you
change that in the original model? even though it looks like you printed in pieces to keep costs down and then puzzled them back together, which is smart, the back if you followed the originals would have left you the same gap between lats and ceratus that is the gap on the zipper. Juuuuuuuuuuuuust enough to get a shim and mold joint in.

I've always felt the lats could have been bigger on the original design, making him look more inhaled, the look he had in the nomex when he was still a little heavier.

Regardless of any changes you made it still came out great, gets the point across and as long as you don't claim end all accurate no one will complain about subtle changes here or there. Its already more accurate than Dullams 1rst, 2nd and 3rd trys so that's a great start in my book having just finished putting one of his together for someone.

Who knows, maybe I'll get to put one of yours together for someone, and I'd still love a pair of your IM boots some day since your still the top maker of IM gear in my book.

Anyways I'm sorry that Kevin had to make me take it in the wrong direction, and since the work speaks for itself nothing I could or would say is going to matter anyways. For whatever its worth, your work has my respect, something your counter part will never have.

Speaking of David and putting trolls in their place, here's a good read:

Not sure why you bothered either. I have never denied Finhead is the talent here. He deserves all the credit and its well known that I do nothing but run the pieces. I am fortunate and blessed to be able to piggy back off his skills. Not all that different than how you have quite limited talents and piggy back off the likes of Dullam and other actual accomplished artists. Guess we're not all that different afterall. :thumbsup

And with that I am done feeding you. Would rather you stayed out of my threads so you don't clog them up with your rhetoric and run on sentences. That way I can read the opinions of people who really matter. Happy New Year.

BATS
I'll say this once since. I'm a man of very few words and less patents for people that critique the work of others than people that stand on the shoulders that do.
Kevin is one of the best people I have ever met, he has never claimed mine or anyones work as his own. I wouldn't even be on this forum doing what I am if it were not for him. One of the most stand up straight forward people that you would want to or have the pleasure of knowing. Please refrain from insulting or slandering his name in any way or form. You would be so lucky to know someone of his character or even think of calling him your friend. I do have that privliege and feel lucky to do so.
My .02$, all I'll say on this, feel free to post elsewhere.

Jay you are quite simply a little turd...

You're a well known bullsh1tter, always full of false promises and an opinionated waaaaaanker. Like others have said you piggy back off other ARTISTS like Dullam and get bitter when people call you out.

You as well as most of the cave are bitter little trolls, starting threads and bitching at all the new techniques being used. Its quite a sad little place tbh and it makes me happy you are all as bitter as each other. I guess your all following in the footsteps of that bitter stealing ******* Inferno.

Agreed!

No worries, I've never thought to call him my friend.

And no worries about staying out of your little threads.

Good luck with the Begins project, hope you guys do better than anyone ever has or could~

DIS, have no clue what your talking about as I've never promised anything and not come thru on it, you must be confused. LOL Your welcome to come and explain to me what I promised you or someone else that I failed to follow thru on. Until then I was speaking to Kevin and Fin so your comments are pointless.
As for new techniques, when they are good, produce amazing results and aren't just shortcuts or repeats of the same techniques used every day by everyone else, I happily embrace them.

Anywhoooooo Gotta go get a piggy back ride!!

Happy New Year!

I'm new to the forum and an honest question...... How much would making a costume with the process you have been using cost typically?

Tag for future pics and write up!!!!:thumbsup
