Batman Begins 1:1

I'm new to the forum and an honest question...... How much would making a costume with the process you have been using cost typically?

Tag for future pics and write up!!!!:thumbsup

Are you asking about the full build process start to finish? If so I'm not sure I would even be able guess, the whole suit has been in the works for over 2 years for sure.
Kevin has been the driving force behind this project and it has consumed a huge amount of his time as well as mine to get it to where it is.

And not sure why these have not shown up in this thread yet but here is the final versoin of the torso, 100% happy with it and this is the first pull out of the mold. :)

And the final guantlets reworked a second time to make them screen accurate down to the door holding latch. They have been textured on the inset areas since the pics.

Oops...I fell asleep at the wheel, Finhead. :facepalm :lol

In regard to the question about cost - once you include Fin's journeyman hours, materials, scanning, printing, modelling, research, etc. I am certain we are in the tens of thousands of dollars.

Last piece of the suit is the belt. Thanks to Kris at Hell's Kitchen for access to a stunt belt with screen lineage. Buckle is almost done. About 12 hours into this to get it to this point. Just about done. Straps are next. Goal will be to cast in rubber or flexible foam.
