My brother (Batman) and I (Two-Face) made these for Halloween 2010. I just realized this would be a good place to post them. We had no idea what we were doing (it was before I knew about sites like this) so we basicaly did them all on our own.
Batman- Foam build applied to a ducttape self cast. After crafting foam was the way he wanted he liquid latexed it. Then spray paint. The cowl is a 'make your own mask' for the base and clay for the rest. The ears and neck are from a cowl he baught online and didnt like. He took the ears and filled them with clay and made them even. (All in all the cowl weighed 2ish lbs!) He went off of The Dark Knight look.
Two-Face- I did this with a little short notice. Luckily I got two times to practice before halloween (saddly none with the half head). The 'burns' are one ply toilet paper glued down with glue stick (forms almost a paper mache). Then deep (dark red/purple/black paints) spots in the 'hole-y' places the paper made. Then I took a spounge and dabbed red and black all over. Then (only for Halloween) I took liquid 'blood' and spounged that all over. For Halloween I also took a white skull mask and cut out the teeth and a jaw to have them stick out (painting the gums on the teeth) and spirit gumming them to my face. For the 'half burnt head' look I (in a rush) took elmers glue and rubbed it through half of my hair (came right out in the shower) and glued an ace bandage to my head and over my ear. Also I wish I made the teeth less white, mabye soak them in coffee or something.
Now, after, I wish I was able to half another hour or two to finnish it up. I wish I never used the ace bandage (only over my ear) and glued the toilet paper right to my hair. I also wanted to take butterfly bandages and opened my eye JUST enough to be able to blink for that eye pop out look.
I may have more pictures soon, I never got someones.
