Hi Everyone!
I am a HUGE Batgirl fan, and I decided to start making Cosplay for her, but not in the traditional manner. I want to make a Dark Knight Trilogy Style Batgirl Cosplay, and I am struggling with a couple of things.
The Mask: Should I make it a full on cowl like Batman has in the movies, or stick to the comic book style Batgirl Mask? Masks are easier to make than cowls but take away from the effect (I think anyway.)
The Cape: Simply put, Short or Long? AND should I add the yellow to the inside?
I want to include elements of both styles, but still stick to the Dark Knight version closely. The chest piece and arm pads I have from ski racing, which can be modified very easily with spray paint and glue. I also have a pair of Black Combat Boots that I can use as her shoes for now. The padding on the legs just needs to be sown on and I should be ok with that.
If you guys would be willing to add your input it will be considered and probably used, AND it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much!
