Hi all,
I recently built a customized 1/144 Bandai Falcon that recreated the look of the ship after it got "destroyed" in the Kessel Run. That build is in this thread:
A friend of mine got me another kit and said I had to build a "clean" version. So I did!
This is built stock with some light weathering.
I gave the ship a coat of Tamiya fine surface primer, then a base coat of Tamiya white. After applying the decals I sealed everything with some Testors dull coat, then did the weathering using Vallejo pigment powders and washes.
I completed the weathering by mixing up a subtly darker shade of white-gray and added some panel chipping. Here are a few closer shots.
Finally, here are the two models side by side. Poor Falcon! Looks like she might need a few special modifications.
Thanks for looking!

Bandai 1/144 "Kessel Run" Millennium Falcon
Hi all, I don't get the chance to work on models much these days, but I wanted to share a project that I just finished. I enjoyed the movie Solo a lot and it was cool to see an earlier iteration of the Falcon. I thought it was pretty funny how the ship kept getting more and more beat up...
