Caplan, I am sure you also enjoyed the great mini-series based on Ambrose's book. The writers spent a week in our museum researching our archives for information. We even have a few uniforms from the film on exhibit!

If you are also interested in photograph reconstructions of original uniforms from the German side, I believe two of my WWII books are published in French, and I know my Roman Legions book is, and I have also done film work in France related to my Roman reconstruction work. You can find some of my books on Amazon if you look under the name Daniel S. Peterson.

Been studying the "Band of Brothers" in the last years.

Just awesome stuff.

Remind me what the story is regarding the trooper whose parachute was stuck on the church?

Read "Brothers in Battle" and enjoyed it more than "Band of Brothers".
