Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build NEW VIDEO JACKET pg 27!!!

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

The bellows are all sewn together so no sizing featured on this one.

Yea I used this for every gluing section (mat to fabric & pocket to mat) it takes about 3 mins to dry, u can see (or actually CAN'T see) it goes on invisible and has a real good bond, u need to hold it down while drying, it has strong fumes too so watch out.
It gets a bit tacky when accidentally gets on ur hands but rubs off easily. This is a size Small jacket and used nearly the whole tube so an extra tube (1 oz) might help for bigger sizes, i think it was around 4-5 dollars at Michaels craft store.

Thanks for the reply! I think it's about time to tackle this project. It would be my first prop build.

No prob! These jackets are pretty fun to build :) Looking forward to your build and good luck

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

Here is progress on a jacket that I'm making for someone. The jacket looks a little weird because it's on a chair, but it looks so much better when someone is actually wearing it.

And this is just because I really like this picture. Plus it's how I discovered how to make the pockets actually work like real pockets.

I like the way you have done those pockets. That is neat :)

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

Any idea what can be used for these little clips and the square pieces used on the straps? Anybody with a 3-d printer?

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

Has anyone tried to do a quick and dirty 2015 jacket, I want to go as 2015 marty for halloween next year, I will have the hoverboard, hat, shoes, and turn my jean pockets inside out. the only thing I am missing is the jacket. However I just want something that looks close not a replica. Oh and I dont want to pay a lot of money, Im thinking about going to the thrift store and frankenstining the hell out of some jackets.

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

I would pay good money for one of these. Too bad Mitas' final run list is full

Had a quick question. What's the best kind of jacket to start with?

Re: Back to the Future II 2015 Jacket Build

And just get a dark blue? Or dark gray? I checked my local Walmart and they're $35 in store :(

The actual name for the color is greystone. And I have no idea why they would be $35 in your store. That is one greedy Wal-Mart.
