I’ve shown it to people with the knowledge and/or collections to confirm my finding and they have.

Sadly because some people can’t control themselves, (and I am still dealing with a couple of them) I have still not decided to release anything further.

People’s curiosity is not more important than the winner’s privacy.

I would by lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. This jacket has been somewhat of a mystery for a while, and when it seems like real progress would be made on it's history... it's spoiled by others.

I appreciate your findings and your work, and I still absolutely would love to see photographic proof of its existence. I understand you want to ensure the winner keeps their privacy, but what is the issue in showcasing just an image of it?

I didn't take it to be demeaning at all. I would be asking the same thing in your shoes.

It all comes down to unintended consequences. I made fractions of information public and the unintended consequences led to to the winner being doxed and harassed. I don't want to risk further unintended consequences by releasing an image. I didn't expect people to be able to dox the winner based on what I previously posted so I haven no idea what someone could do with an image, censored or not.

As I said, I had originally intended to release everything! But because a handful of the more toxic people in the community couldn't wait one week for me to verify my findings, I have to take a hard line now. I get how frustrating that is, but imagine how frustrated, sad, and disappointed I am working on this for over 8 years only to have people do what they did to the winner at the 11th hour... and then to be called all the things I have been called publicly and privately since simply because I won't be bullied into risking the winner's privacy again.

Seriously, i like my 2021 version of the headgoonie bomber jacket but i can’t overstate how they had a really close color pattern in 2018 and they’ve made it darker and globally worse in 2021, it’s a shame really. The new colors are not close at all imo.

I hope that they will keep the overall shape of the new jacket and revert to those 2018 colors with the poppy blue and the light grey which is so much closer to the screen used Guess P6108 jacket. I own the 2021 but i still think the most accurate replica out there is the 2018 version.

Main changes is the colour tone of the paisley and Hollywood liner. It is now more yellowed compared to the white it was before. The denim also looks a *tiny* bit lighter. It was just put up today, and they live streamed on Instagram showing each size and overall fit.

Yes, I still think it's not quite right. It needs to be a bit lighter with a more indigo hint.

The shape of the jackets are identical. The main difference of the 2023 jacket is the yellowed liner and slightly lighter grey.

matches the colours in this shot hear more , I think I might try together a jacket and dye it again maybe or just sun fade it which may match the movie colours better.

The 2021 jacket already matched that scene pretty well. Like he said I also prefer the pattern on the 2021 version, not sure why they made it more plain looking.

Yep, the 2023 jacket really looks like a downgrade in terms of the denim. Looks way too basic and flat like most other replicas. The 2021 jacket looked very close to the stonewash process of a real Guess jacket. They even described "the vertical fall of the outer denim" on the 2021 store page that gives the denim that specific look. That note is now removed from the 2023 jacket page.
