I haven't seen it yet and just picked up the DVD at our local ACME today, 'cause it came with a box of Pop Secret and box-of-choice-candy and $4 off. The cashier, a young college aged girl, went absolutely bat-****-crazy over this movie. She picked up the DVD off the counter and said loudly: "BEST MOVIE EVAR!!" and proceeded to go on and on and on and ON about how great it was, that it was being re-released in 3d and how once we see it we'll not want to leave their world:wacko blah, blah, blah.....
Well I about died laughing on the inside. I am a self professed Star Wars geek, but to go nuts to total strangers on a 10 minute monologue is a little eccentric to say the least. My wife, who is the most non-science-fiction person I know had to be the one the cashier was directing her monologue towards, which only fueled my laughter.
So, in closing, I do hope that this movie lives up to the long list of expectations I have of it.
