Hi folks,
Started a new build and its Connor's Tomahawk from Assassin's Creed 3.

I cut the first half from mdf and using a belt sander i shaped the profile of the outer bevel. For the inside bevel i filled the profile with wed clay. Since this is gonna be molded wed clay won't be any problem.

For the tail piece, i cut a styrene sheet and build my way up to a certain height and angle.

Than i filled the gaps with bondo,

But the wed clay didn't came out smooth as i thought. So i filled it with bondo as well :)

Than all sanded smooth,

Thats it for today, stay tuned for the updates! Thanks!

Finally got the head primered and sanded,

Now its time to mold,
I'm planing to make a block old of the halves. I made a simple mold box out of foam-core poster board, and poured silicone.

Stay tuned, there's more to come :)

No comments? :(

Mold and castings came out great !

Also i made the handle out of block of pine, it was so hard to shape but still needs work,

The two halves of the axe head glued together filled and sanded smooth. And i cut some thin styrene to preview the base of the axe,

After that i used 3mm styrene to make the actual axe base, and finished shaping the handle, all sanded smooth (hours of sanding) and ready to be primered :)
Also i marked the diamond on the handle. Next thing is overall paint job and carving the diamond symbol.

Thank you so much! Willing to do a run but im not sure there would be much interest, time will show :)

Update, i stained and varnished the handle, i used dark wood stain and rattle can varnish,

Diamonds have been painted as well, i filled it with yellow acrylic and wiped off the exess.

Also i started the leather work, stripes has been cut and painted,

All set :) stay tuned!
