just got this today pretty good with interesting sound effects, one question for anyone else who has one or seen one, do the blue areas on the Warp Nacelles light up, on mine only the front clear red areas on the nacelles light up

The blue areas do not light up.

If you want blue lights installed and don't want to do it yourself, there's a member on the Art Asylum board who offers the service. I haven't had my ship modded (yet), but I have dealt with this guy several times FWIW.

Nope, they don't light up, which is sad, IMO. It's not too incredibly difficult to add LEDs to the existing wiring system though, which is what I'm working on... I've already changed the wheat bulbs in the bussards to LEDs, but I haven't found the right sized blue LED for the nacelles.

That sucks about the blue area on the enterprise e, but the thing that peaved me with the refit was the nacelles stopped working the day I got it.

I don't have the Refit (though I really want it), but was that built like the NX-01 where the nacelles pop on and off like old Playmates ships' did? Or are the nacelles screwed down?

They pop on and off, but the problem on mine must've been in the secondary hull, which you can't take apart.
