just finished episode 1......and it is god awful......everything is bad....the writing, acting, narration, the story, cameos etc etc
im hoping it will get better.......
so far it seems like season 4 is like the star wars prequels....should had been left as a trilogy...

First episode did feel off... Second episode is starting to feel more like the old show again.

I love it! Its like hanging out with old friends. The Gob, Tobis and Lindsay episodes are so far my favorite. I don't know why, but that short hair on Lindsay is sexy. I would have rather them not split up episodes revolving around characters, but I understand they had to do it because of everyone having different schedules. It also works with how they're telling the stories though.
Loved The workaholics and also Ninja Please! I think I'll have to re-watch them all next month to grasp everything since its a little overwhelming.

I finished watching the entire season 4 of Arrested Development on Netflix. I wasn't too pleased with the opening episodes but it started getting better after episode 3. And though the episodes aren't all out funny like the original seasons, they are still pretty entertaining even though some of the plot felt confusing at times. Some of the jokes and plot lines really pay off well in the later episodes.
It appears seven years haven't been too kind on Portia de Rossi, though in the later Lindsay episode she looked much better with her short hair. Tobias episodes were initially the most funny ones, I also enjoyed the episodes of Gob, Lindsay, Maeby and Buster. But George-Michael episodes were my overall favourites and pretty hilarious in some instances. All in all I am glad they brought the show back and perhaps they can have season 5 next year in a regular narrative format.
In the future I plan to watch all the Arrested Development season 4 episodes again but in random order to see how it plays out.

The Ex-Wife and I ended up watching about half of the episodes today and they definitely were getting better the farther along you were. I'm happy it's back but I'm also sad to know that I will probably burn through the whole season by time the long weekend is over. lol

I think that because of the nature of the new season, you probably shouldn't think of it as linear episodes, but pieces of a pie. Everything built off of everything else, which is what the original seasons did and part of what them so great, sure. But I think it's much more so the case with these episodes, which is why the first ones feel less satisfying. I just finished watching them all, but I'm probably going to wait a week or two to watch them again 1 or 2 episodes at a time to digest it more slowly before I really decide if it was "better" or "worse" than the original episodes.
Also, why the **** was everyone eating parmesan cheese and mustard all the time?

Totally, I won't deny that but having seen the season 3 final episode just before watching season 4 it seemed that amongst all the cast members the difference in her looks seemed more drastic than the rest. Also I later wondered if she was wearing a blonde wig in the first place while shooting the early episodes.

I think Portia looks great, but drastically different. I think a big part of that is that she started dying her eyebrows to match her hair. She's also made some changes to her make up... It's actually a little more natural looking.

entire season 4 was great. I enjoyed it as much as the other seasons. Nothing I could complain about, unless i want to be really picky about a show that got cancelled and then brought back. lol i'd have to say, i wish there were more chicken dances lol. great season.
