Considering all the talent floating around this site, I doubt I can even come close to making an accurate enough costume for the Halloween contest. Regardless, I'll post what I'm working on just for the fun of it. It won't be screen accurate, but I'm working on a Tyson Rios costume from the video game Army of Two.
I bought the raw mask from Jarvis, who makes AWESOME stuff, and painted it with a base coat of black and silver, and then an upper coat of Army Green.
To create the gouge marks on the mask, I simply took a sharp knife and dragged the blade over the areas I wanted. If you don't press too hard, you scratch off the top coat of green and reveal the silver underneath.
