Arkham City Robin

Hey RPF!

Been around on the forums for a while, just haven't got round to posting anything until now :D

I'm making an Arkham City Robin costume and I've made all the armoured parts for this kit.

But I'm stumped now....

For the chest I've been suggested that I mount the armour chest pieces on a compression/tight sports shirt and then place a bigger sized compression/tight sports shirt over the top and "mould" the shirt around the chest pieces.

(In case you can't see, the top piece and the 4 strips are for the chest)

But I'm unsure about this method, could you guys give me some advice please?

Yeah, I realised just now I didn't pick the best or the right background to photo the pieces on :S

You should definitely glue the pieces to a compression shirt, but you should probably use some sort of rubbe (plastidip?) over them to get a more armor-like look to it. For the gloves, you can get a pair of elbow length rose gloves. I'm really looking forward to seeing the end result since I love Robin's Arkham city look aside from the shaved head and fingerless gloves(fingerprints!)

Well I was planning to put a second shirt over the top of the armour as well so it looks like the armour is moulded into the shirt but I'm not sure if there are better ideas out there or not :S

i kw its simple btim jus startin on mine bt wld save me a bumch of time if u cld sendme the templets of those, wld helpa bunch thanks

If you already have the two compression shirts, maybe you could stick the pieces in between them and sew around each individual piece?

Dude your armor pieces look excellent! That's just EVA foam yeah? What thickness?
Definitely going to follow your progress. I'm going to attempt my own arkham city robin later this year.
