Arkham City Harley Quinn

Wow. That's awesome and you look great in it. It looks like a great deal of effort went into it, I agree it doesn't look too "costumey", it just looks killer.

Great outfit!! It's amazing. You wear it great.

Great work, you wear it well. Out of curiosity, what is Harley's tattoo of? I could see it in the game demo, but not well enough to tell what it was. How did you do yours?

Looks like a card with the Joker on it with a banner saying "Mr. J" and a rose. One on her arm too.

Yup, like the other poster said. I looked at the different concept art shots so far and designed the tattoos in illustrator. The tummy on is black/red roses with thorns and a card with 'Mr J' on a banner. I used the arkham asylum concept art for the joker image. And the arm one, I did roses, thorns, another card with the joker and some dice. I wasn't sure about that one, and it looked different in the different ref. clips so I just kinda went with something cool.

Great Costume and looking like Harley really helps. lol

Seriously though perk those pig tails up more and you have the look of the Harley in the game to a tee.

This looks awesome! I think I MAY have seen you there, but I'm not sure.

This is a costume I want to do, but I lack the corset making and leather working skills to do so. Any suggestions?

I think you probably did? I know Jason saw me in my Pixie costume the other day and you were hangin' with him?
I'm not going to lie and say this was easy, cause it wasn't. I used all my 5 years of garment construction training and then some to get this stuff completed. Also its entirely possible that your machine may not even sew this stuff. Mine is pretty hefty, but for the corset, sewing through canvas, lining, and sometimes 6 layers of leather I had to use an industrial leather machine for parts. I used the historical underbust corset pattern for the basis, heavily modified. The rest of the costume was patterns draft by myself. I don't really feel like working with vinyl is any easier... just cheaper.
Its the nature of the beast, its all practice and not really something that can be taught via a forum. Best of luck? And you can always keep building upon and improving =) :)
